The 11th edition of CULTOURFAIR – Global Heritage Culture and Gastronomy Travel Market – concludes successfully with the participation of more than 100 companies hailing from 23 countries.
This edition of CULTOURFAIR has the support and sponsorship of Oviedo City Council, host destination of the event, Las Caldas Villa Termal & Blau Hotels, official hotel, the Secretary of Tourism of the State of Querétaro, Mexico, guest destination, and La Milla de Oro del Vino de Valladolid, as Platinum Sponsor.
The intense promotion campaign for edition in Oviedo has generated great interest in the destination, receiving registrations from more than 500 buyers from 58 countries, of which the best 50 were selected due to their decision-making power, specialized in: luxury travel, events (sports, musical, wine, gourmet, etc.), MICE, city-breaks, heritage, gastronomy, folklore, religious, etc
The event was hosted in Las Caldas Villa Termal by Blau Hotels, the oldest royal bathhouse in Spain, where over 2,000 business meetings were conducted with an estimated medium to long-term economic impact of 200 million euros.
The State of Queretaro began the working sessions with a presentation of its destination, showcasing its MICE, cultural, and gastronomic offer.
Blau Hotels organized an exceptional networking program for the participants: circuit of the thermal waters, as well as a welcoming reception highlighting the hotel’s excellent gastronomy in the historic Salon de los Espejos. The welcoming reception was graced with the participation of Alfredo García Quintana, Tourism Councillor of Oviedo, Fernando Sánchez, General Director of Las Caldas Villa Termal, Marga Alemany, Commercial Director of Blau Hotels, and Charo Trabado, CEO of MITM Events.

The Milla de Oro del Vino de Valladolid closed the event with a wine-tasting at the Scanda restauranta, which saw the particiaption of Roberto Migallón, Deputy of the Area of ​​Employment and Economic Development and Demographic Challenge, Moisés Santana, President of the Tourism Board of the Provincial Council of Valladolid, Francisco Fuentes, Head of Youth, Sports and Consumer Service, and Milla De Oro Brand, and Victor Fernández, General Director of the Museom of Wine of Valladolid. The wine-tasting was organized by the somellier Miguel Ángel Benito who displayed a variety of wines from the province, paired with world renowned cheese, as well as the Pucela Roll: awarded as the best Tapa of the Concurso Nacional de Pinchos y Tapas XIX.
