Kazakh national carrier partners with Flight Delight Catering for the highest standards of cuisine.

Air Astana is offering new culinary delights to passengers flying from Frankfurt following the recent appointment of Flight Delight Catering to provide the very highest standards of cuisine. Flight Delight Catering is a new company, but it is steeped in tradition with an international team of specialists that bring more than 90 years of catering experience. The company works closely with nutrition specialists, food trend scouts, health specialists and local produce suppliers to create high-quality and fresh culinary delights for the finest in-flight meal service.

Air Astana passengers can now enjoy authentic Hungarian Goulash with Spätzle or Chicken Curry with Jasmine Rice in Economy Class, whilst passengers in Business Class can appreciate an all new four course menu, with main course choices including Truffle-Ricotta Ravioli with Sun Dried Tomatoes or Thyme Scented Breast of Guinea Fowl with Grilled Polenta and Fennel.

Air Astana currently operates flights from Frankfurt to Kazakhstan six times a week, with services every Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday to the capital city, Nur-Sultan, and every Wednesday to both Atyrau and Uralsk, in western Kazakhstan. Flights to Nur-Sultan and Atyrau are operated using the latest generation Airbus A321LR aircraft in a two-class configuration, including Business Class with 16 flatbed seats, whilst the service to Uralsk is operated using an Airbus A320.
