Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 | Innovation Route: Technology, Sustainability, and Creativity in the Spotlight

The Cannes Yachting Festival is setting sail toward the future of boating with the 2025 edition of the Innovation Route, where technology and sustainability take center stage:

40 innovations selected from over 120 applications.
An international jury of experts chose the boldest projects, capable of combining performance, sailing pleasure, and environmental responsibility.
Among the highlights: 100% solar-electric catamarans, boats using recycled or natural materials, hybridization systems, advanced safety devices, and onboard artificial intelligence. These innovations demonstrate that boating can be both eco-friendly and high-tech.

In 2024, the Cannes Yachting Festival made a mark with the launch of the Innovation Route, which quickly became a must-see feature of Europe’s largest in-water boat show. This unique trail, dedicated to technological advances and eco-responsible initiatives, highlighted the most ambitious solutions for the future of boating.

In 2025, the Festival takes a further step with the creation of the Innovation Route Awards. Intended to recognize the most outstanding projects, these awards, to be announced on 9 September 2025, will honor the players who are redefining sailing, making it more sustainable, more innovative, and even more attractive.
