CRN, which specialises in the design, engineering and construction of pure custom superyachts up to 95 metres in length, will be taking part in the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show 2024 held from September 25 to 28 against the iconic backdrop of Port Hercule in the heart of Monte Carlo. In this prestigious location – a beacon for the global yachting industry – CRN will be presenting a new chapter in the brand’s history of excellent craftsmanship, technical mastery and expertise spanning over 60 years, at Appontement Jules Soccal – SYBAss Avenue, stand JS1.
Founded in 1963, CRN has revolutionised the yachting world with uniquely recognisable designs and set standards that have become global benchmarks for luxury pleasure yachts. Today the Ancona shipyard – Ferretti Group’s multibrand production centre – is a strategic production site that represents the state-of-the-art in terms of know-how and yacht design, with outstanding levels of research and innovation: values that have always been imprinted in CRN’s DNA. This is where CRN metal super and megayachts from 60 to 95 metres are designed and built, along with the entire Custom Line made-to-measure composite range from 30 to 43 metres and the full-aluminium branded flagship superyachts: Riva Superyacht Division from 50 metres upwards, Custom Line 50 metres and Pershing 140.
Four CRN superyachts are currently under construction at the Ancona Superyacht Yard. The new CRN M/Y 143 Project Maranello – 67 metres in steel and aluminium, scheduled for launch in autumn 2024 – combines CRN’s know-how and design and build quality with the creativity of Nuvolari Lenard for the exterior styling and interior design. With delivery planned for 2026, CRN M/Y 145 Project Thunderball is the 70-metre steel and aluminium yacht created in partnership with architects Vripack – who designed the exteriors and naval architecture, the latter with the Ferretti Group SuperYachts Division Engineering team – and with Nauta Design, which handled the development of the interiors and the furnishing of the outdoor areas. CRN M/Y 144, planned for launch in 2026, will be the new flagship of the storied brand, with a length overall of 86 metres: the naval architecture was developed by the FG Superyachts Division Engineering team, while the exteriors were designed by architects Vallicelli Design. Finally, the new 67-metre CRN M/Y Project 146 is the tenth joint project with Nuvolari Lenard and the launch is planned for 2027.
Redeveloped in 2016, Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona officially opened the new executive offices and hospitality area for the metal superyachts divisionin December 2023. The building – an expression of CRN’s bespoke philosophy and metal superyachts combined with innovation and exquisite craftsmanship – is a milestone in the shipyard’s strategic expansion plan, with the aim of taking every owner on an immersive journey that starts with preliminary meetings and continues throughout the process of creating a pleasure vessel.
