The world of top racing is Selle San Marco’s natural environment and where the Veneto-based brand intends to reaffirm itself in the near future. Next season, this strategic choice will consolidate the brand’s presence in the professional field, by forging through new partnerships involving elite road and mountain bike teams.

From January 2025, the Veneto-based company will take part in the most important international road racing championships alongside the Novo Nordisk and Wagner Bazin WBProTeams, and provide support for the KTM MTB Factory Team in mountain biking.

“We are proud to have been chosen by these teams. It is very important for us to be able to support the riders in the competition and have their confidence in our products,” says Riccardo Bigolin, Vice President of the Selle Italia Group, of which Selle San Marco is a part. “We provide support to the athletes from training to competition, listening carefully, as always, to their feedback to make our products even better.”

In the road cycling world, Selle San Marco will be supporting two ProTeams, which is the prelude to the World Tour: the American team, Novo Nordisk, renowned for its commitment to help diabetes sufferers take part in high-level sport, and the fledgling French-Belgian team, Wagner Bazin WB, founded in August 2024 from the merger of the Bingoal WB and Philippe Wagner-Bazin teams.

“We are excited about the collaboration with Selle San Marco for the upcoming season,” stated Vassili Davidenko, CEO of Team Novo Nordisk. “The company’s commitment to excellence and innovation aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire, educate and raise awareness about people living with diabetes. With the support of Selle San Marco, our riders will benefit from cutting-edge equipment, continuing to break down barriers and show what is possible with diabetes.”

For Selle San Marco, this partnership represents an opportunity to contribute to a team that is redefining what it means to compete at the highest levels of sport while managing a chronic condition.

Great satisfaction also for the Wagner Bazin WB team, the operations manager, Mattijs Dachy, says, “We are very satisfied with the arrival of Selle San Marco. With their help, our riders will be able to find the best saddle for their requirements. Our team has projects and goals for the coming years and we hope to be able to complete them with Selle San Marco by our side.”
