Green Pearls®, an international platform and communications agency, is expanding its network of sustainable accommodations to include like-minded brands from the travel and lifestyle sector. For over 13 years, the platform has served as a voice for sustainable tourism, and it is now opening up to companies whose products and solutions promote environmentally friendly comfort — from materials and care to energy efficiency.
In recent years, it has become clear that the „green will” of hoteliers is not enough on its own. A holistic, sustainable travel experience requires sustainable partners. Keeping this in mind, the idea emerged to create a platform that brings hoteliers, travelers, and companies interested in and committed to sustainability together. Thus, Curated by Green Pearls® was born.
Sustainability is no longer confined to a single segment, but rather a shared responsibility across industries. By opening up our network, we are creating new synergies and showcasing the diversity of sustainable travel today—from hotel rooms to the products that furnish them.
Stefany Seipp, Founder and Managing Director of Green Pearls®
In collaboration with its new partners, Green Pearls® seeks to raise awareness of sustainable, holistic travel and demonstrate the meaningful combination of sustainability, quality, and design.
Hand-picked, Special, and Sustainable
Starting December 1, 2025, the network will welcome a selection of sustainable companies and products, including Medeco Cleantec, SWISSFEEL, PHARMOS Natur, memo AG, Ecowaterjet by rabmer®, and Segmüller Werkstätten. All of which share our values and promote eco-friendly comfort through their innovations.
Ecowaterjet by rabmer® – Water-saving showers without compromise
Austrian company Rabmer demonstrates how modern technology can save water with its Ecowaterjet by rabmer®. This innovative shower insert mixes air into the water jet, reducing water consumption by up to 50 percent while providing stronger, more even water flow. It also reduces deposits in the showerhead, saving energy and maintenance costs. With an average water consumption of around 300 liters per hotel guest per night (even sustainable hotels use about 168 liters), the enormous potential for savings offered by sustainable bathroom design and mindful resource use is clear.
Medeco Cleantec – Hygienically clean without chemicals
The German company Medeco Cleantec invented the micro-dry steam cleaning solution — a hotel cleaning method that uses no chemicals and saves over 90 percent of the water typically used in conventional cleaning methods. Micro-dry steam contains only about 5 percent water (compared to up to 35 percent in conventional steam cleaners) and operates at higher temperatures and pressures. These features make the process suitable for upholstered furniture and sensitive surfaces. The result? A hygienic, clean, and healthy environment.
In October 2025, Medeco Cleantec won the German Sustainability Award in the “Resources” category — some Green Pearls® accommodations are already among its satisfied customers.
memo AG – Sustainable mail order business from Germany
memo AG, a German online mail order company, is considered a „more sustainable alternative to Amazon.” For 35 years, it has exclusively offered environmentally friendly products from the office, living, food, outdoor, and other sectors. Products are packaged in the reusable memo box at no extra charge, saving several thousand tons of cardboard annually. For this system, memo AG was honored with the German Sustainability Award in 2025. One of memo AG’s first customers was the Hotel Luise in Erlangen, which is run by the third generation of the Förtsch family, and also won the German Sustainability Award in the lodging industry category in 2025. An example of the genuine sustainability partnerships within the Green Pearls® network.
SWISSFEEL – Recyclable mattresses from Switzerland
SWISSFEEL, a Swiss manufacturer, is the first company in the world to offer recyclable mattresses. Thanks to its innovative “2-Cycle” concept, both the cover and the core are fully washable and completely recyclable at the end of their life cycle. This extends the service life to up to 20 years, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional mattresses. SWISSFEEL does not use harmful additives, avoids waste, and benefits from short transport routes thanks to production in Switzerland.
SWISSFEEL mattresses are used in the award-winning Circular Living Rooms at the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA in Bad Herrenalb, a hotel room concept based on the principles of the circular economy and zero waste.
PHARMOS NATUR – Holistic and natural skin care
PHARMOS NATUR produces certified organic natural cosmetics made from ecologically grown, fairly traded raw materials. The focus is on pure aloe vera fresh plant juice, which (instead of water) forms the basis of all cosmetic products. Packaging is made from recyclable materials, and critical ingredients are consistently avoided. The company also supports environmental and social projects, as well as the protection of indigenous communities and the rainforest. The products are bottled and produced in Germany – without animal testing, of course. Many Green Pearls® partners have been relying on this brand for years.
Segmüller Werkstätten – where Responsibility meets Style
The long-standing, family-owned company Segmüller showcases with its sustainable collection—crafted in its own production facilities and under the sub-brand Segmüller Werkstätten—that responsible practices and modern furniture design can truly go hand in hand. With LA SILVA, a product developed specifically for eco-conscious hospitality, Segmüller introduces a sustainable bed system made from certified solid wood, natural latex, linen, and coconut fibers.
Proudly crafted in Bavaria, LA SILVA stands for durability, regional craftsmanship, and resource-efficient production—an ideal fit for environmentally minded hotels and vacation rentals, as well as private customers who value conscious, sustainable living.
„Sustainability Does not Stop at the Hotel Entrance.“
“Sustainability does not stop at the hotel room door,” emphasises Stefany Seipp, founder and managing director of Green Pearls®. „We want to connect people and brands that share the same values, and demonstrate together that responsible travel is inspiring and beautiful.”
By adding sustainable companies, Green Pearls® once again highlights its role as a driving force for responsible tourism, combining environmental awareness, comfort, and innovation.
