Online travel community Bidroom has launched an Instagram contest so that three lucky couples from around the world can reunite in a top-end hotel in a favourite destination after Covid-19 travel restrictions have been lifted.
Winning couples can choose a free 10-day stay in any of dozens of participating global destination hotels as part of the #BidroomReunited contest.
To enter, separated couples only need to make a short video at home explaining why the judges (from Bidroom) should pick them and where they would like to go to be #BidroomReunited.
Fifteen shortlisted videos will then be hosted online. The public will be invited to vote for their favorite duo in each category — friends, family and couples.
Bidroom will also pay for air tickets and some in-destination activities. In return the winning couples will post footage on social media while on their 10-day reunification trip.
“Due to borders, oceans, finances, and this crazy Covid-19 life we’re living, friends, family and couples are currently separated and hurting,” says Michael Ros CEO at Bidroom. “We want to fix that and make dreams come true — once it’s viable and safe to travel again.”

Video submissions from separated couples are open until 14 June at 11:59 P.M. (GMT). Shortlisted videos by couples will be announced on 21 June.
