An Initiative Achieve Earth Check Certification
The initiative pursues a comprehensive sustainability strategy based on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, the company is actively pursuing certification through Earth Check, one of the leading environmental certification programs. Earth Check requires hotels to meet more than 300 sustainability criteria, including reducing emissions and improving energy efficiency.
There are different „ADLER for Planet” projects for each hotel:
- ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI and ADLER Spa Resort BALANCE: Partnership with Locia
The Locia workshop in Ortisei accompanies and supports people with disabilities offering them meaningful employment and encouraging them to develop their independence and personality. - ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA: Respect for the environment
The resort, which is 100% powered by renewable energy, regularly organizes clean-up days on the beach near the hotel. - ADLER Spa Resort THERMAE: Cultural events for the region
Organizes, in collaboration with the annual classical music festival Paesaggi Musicali Toscani, a concert event in the spectacular setting of Tenuta Sanoner. The first event was held on August 13, 2024. - ADLER Lodge RITTEN: Own Garden with Fruit and Vegetable production
In line with the „farm to table” concept of the South Tyrolean wellness hotel’s cuisine. - ADLER Lodge ALPE: Tree planting as a joint activity with the guests
In addition, a green policy is in place to minimize waste, maximize recycling opportunities, reduce the use of plastics, and promote the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products.
