Africa Spirit is a DMC that was born in 2016, from the thirty years’ experience of Mr. Carmelo Reitano on the island of Zanzibar, as owner of the Karafuu Beach Resort & Spa Zanzibar 5 *.
Thanks to our head office located in Italy, our offices with multilingual staff in Zanzibar and Arusha and a small fleet of owned vehicles, Africa Spirit aims to provide a complete package of services to meet your needs and those of your customers, right from their arrival at the airport.
The services we offer as a DMC are:
-Meet & Greet @ ZNZ airport.
– Airport Lounge at arrival and departure
-Multilingual assistance
-Transfers and Luxury transfer
-Cumulative and private excursions
– Domestic flights
-Reservations in all hotels of the Zanzibar archipelago including Pemba and Mafia.
Since 2018, our reality has grown with the Filao Beach Resort Zanzibar 4 *, located in Uroa, which has become part of the Africa Spirit management.
The growth continued in 2019 with the acquisition of the management of the Pearl Beach Resort & Spa Zanzibar 5 *, in Michamvi.
Hence the idea of creating a small network called: Africa Spirit Hotels Collection.
In February 2021 we inaugurated our boutique hotel The Manor House Zanzibar, a beautiful colonial-style residence near Stone Town.
The latest novelty of this year is the opening, last October, of the Kae Beach Resort Zanzibar 4 *, located in the Michamvi peninsula, overlooking the wonderful Chwaka Bay.
We are also partners of Tanganyika Expeditions for the marketing and sale of safaris in the Northern Tanzania circuit.
We have 9 fixed camps / lodges, in exclusive areas plus a traveling camp that normally follows the Great Migration.
We also collaborate with several other partners to be able to offer a complete safari product, also including the parks of south and west Tanzania and the Saadani National Park, just a few minutes flight from Zanzibar, as well as budget safari products, designed specifically for charters to Zanzibar (including domestic flight)
