As happens every year, the popular travel website
TripAdvisor has released the lists by categories of best hotels and destinations
around the world. This selection takes into account opinions of travelers and the
criteria of specialized travel agencies, tour operators and critics, from which a
select group is formed that represents the best performances in the leisure
industry.
In its most recent update, three hotels managed by Meliá Hotels International
Cuba are listed among the 25 best All-Inclusive Resorts in the Caribbean, an
exclusive group that only includes another hotel in the island. In the case of
Meliá, the Meliá Cayo Coco, the Paradisus Río de Oro and the Meliá
Buenavista received such important recognition. These are resorts with high
service standards, which include the luxury segments Royal Service by
Paradisus and The Level by Meliá Hotels & Resorts.
On the other hand, Cuba was ranked 19th among the 25 most popular
destinations in the world, second only to the Dominican Republic, being the only
two Caribbean countries present in the list.
This is, certainly, an important incentive for the company, in a year marked by
the new challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic will impose. We extend a
sincere congratulation to the managers and employees of these facilities. We
will continue working to build a tourism of reference for the Caribbean and the
world.
