TouchCasino.com has imagined what street circuits could look like in five locations that are most popular among Formula One fans.

To create the tracks, TouchCasino.com carried out the following four steps:

1. The top five countries with the highest monthly search volumes for F1 were identified.

2. Each country’s ideal track location, complete with iconic landmarks and scenery, was mapped using Google Earth.

3. The feasibility of each track was verified using official Formula One guidelines.

4. All five tracks were ranked by the total number of laps needed to complete.

Circuit 1: Madrid – Spain
Laps – 78
Lap Length – 3.94km

This street circuit would add a second Spanish Grand Prix to the Formula One schedule, alongside the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. This race would take place in Spain’s capital, Madrid, situated only 5km away from Real Madrid’s famous Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. A lap of the Grand Prix would be 3.94km in distance and take place over 78 laps. Also, similarly to the imagined Washington Grand Prix, there would be the unique inclusion of bridges.

Circuit 2: Rome – Italy
Laps – 75
Lap Length – 4.08km

Italy is known to have a rich heritage in the sport and already boasts the famous Monza and Imola circuits within the current Formula One calendar. Utilising Google Earth, TouchCasino.com has brought an Italian street circuit to life with a Rome Grand Prix that spans over 4.08km, requiring a total of 75 laps. The Circuit is in the heart of Rome, and features the Parabolica del Colosseo, which is a long hairpin turn that wraps around the Colosseum, which would write itself within the history books of Formula One.

Circuit 3: London – UK
Laps – 68
Lap Length – 4.54km

This year, the British Grand Prix in Silverstone saw Carlos Sainz achieve his first race win at the historical circuit. With such huge potential for a secondary British GP, an idealistic circuit has been created that would see Formula One drivers take to the streets of London, across 68 laps of the 4.54km circuit. Fans can watch the high speed action take place through iconic tourist destinations from Trafalgar square and into the Palace chicane which would see the Royal backdrop of Buckingham palace included.

Circuit 4: Brasília – Brazil
Laps – 56
Lap Length – 5.47km

Located in Brazil is the Sao Paulo Circuit which is currently a destination on the 2022 Formula One Calendar and has been for many years. However, Brazil has yet to see a street circuit. This idea would see a track located in Brasília, that spans 56 laps of the 5.47km circuit, with a combination of wide straights, perfect for DRS zones that pass locations such as the Arena BRB Mané Garrincha, to more technical sections surrounded by the Cityscape.

Circuit 5: Washington – USA
Laps – 48
Lap Length – 6.40km

The United States is currently host to a round in the 2022 season, located at Circuit of the Americas. With the news of a Las Vegas street circuit on the horizon, would a track be feasible in the capital? Exploring this, Washington seems to be the ideal location, offering fast corners and the inclusion of bridges, which is something that would be unique to a new race. The Grand Prix would take place over 48 laps, however each lap would span 6.40km, making it one of the larger circuits in the sport.

Laura O’Brien from TouchCasino.com commented:

“Formula One’s popularity has skyrocketed off the back of the 2021 season, and with this new fanbase, it’s vital that fans are kept engaged. The creation of the Las Vegas street circuit will help to draw new fans and retain the existing as it is such a unique addition to the sport.

Being able to watch your favourite drivers, at high speed throughout the streets of famous locations is an exciting prospect that provides so many positives for the future and opens the door to countless new opportunities. Depending on the success of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, we could potentially see these ideas come to life, whether it be a Grand Prix in the likes of London or Rome in the near future.”
