As back to back heat waves have brought sweltering temperatures in the 40s to parts of Europe this July — which is expected to break records for the world’s hottest month ever recorded — , search volumes for “water park” have soared by 93%.1 Water parks have always been a summer vacation highlight that are guaranteed to make great family memories.
With this in mind, the experts at Bath retailer Showers to You examined 562 water parks across Europe and analysed reputable review sites to ultimately uncover Europe’s highest rated water park.

Europe’s highest rated water park is located in the United Kingdom
Bath retailer Showers to You can reveal that Europe’s best water park in 2023 is Dorset Adventure Park located in Dorset, England, with an average guest review score of 4.71 out of a possible 5. Nestled in a valley beside the ruins of Corfe Castle, the adventure park lives up to the name, not only offering a series of wipe-out style courses, but also mud trail assault courses for the ultimate getaway. Dorset Adventure Park has an 8% higher average rating than another UK-based water park, Subtropical Swimming Paradise in eighth place (4.33/5).
Following closely in second with an average guest review score of 4.54 out of 5 is Energylandia located in Poland. This water park is famous for its tropical island styled water park, home to 14 slides of all shapes and sizes, as well as a beach to relax on. Energylandia is the only water park in Poland to make the top ranking, scoring highly for its variety of attractions, suitability for all ages and reasonable prices.
Holiday favourite Tenerife (Siam Park) ranks third
In third place is Siam Park located in Tenerife, Spain, with a guest review score of 4.44 out of 5. The Siamese themed water park is home to a series of attractions that cater to every type of holiday. Tenerife is a popular holiday spot for tourists and a second water park on the island ranks joint 12th in the study, Lago Martiánez, with a 3% lower average rating than Siam Park (4.30/5). One of the many popular attractions at the park to visit is the water slide that takes you right through a shark tank! To make the most of your visit and avoid the queues, there is a fast track pass available for an extra fee.
In fourth place is Croatia’s Aquapark Istralandia with a guest review score of 4.41/5. Aquapark Istralandia was Croatia’s first waterpark, with guaranteed adrenaline dosage on 20 different slides, catering for adults, children and families including attractions such as ‘Wave Pool’ and ‘Free Fall’. Croatia’s Aquapark Istralandia has a 7% higher average guest rating that fellow Croatian water park Aquapark Aquacolors Poreč with a score of 4.12/5.
