The whole world was watching the Hanseatic city as the six groups of four were drawn at the Final Draw in Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie on 2 December 2023. In these groups, the 24 best teams in Europe will compete against each other in the summer of 2024. But the harbour metropolis has even more to offer: the city
of Hamburg is looking forward to a total of five UEFA EURO 2024 matches in the Volkspark- stadion. Four group matches and one quarter- final will be played there in front of 50,000 spectators on each occasion. The teams involved are the Netherlands, Türkiye, Croatia, Albania, Czechia, Poland and Georgia.
In addition to the Final Draw, the city of Hamburg is using the time before the EURO and the tournament itself as an opportunity to present itself as a cosmopolitan football metropolis to guests and football fans from
