The Greek-Polish Tourism Workshop took place on Tuesday, 13.12.2022, in Hotel Radisson Blu Sobieski Warsaw. The event started at 10.30 a.m. with the registration of the guests, after the B2B meetings between Greek Sellers and Polish Buyers from 11.30 a.m. At 3.00 p.m. there was a Greek-style lunch, during which the Greek regions and destinations made their presentations. At 4.00 p.m. there was a lottery drawn with 17 attractive prizes, sorted out among the Polish participants (tour operators and media representatives) of the workshop.
During the 3,5 hours dedicated to the B2B part, there took place a lot of meetings between the Greek sellers and the Polish buyers. On the workshop 25 Greek Sellers participated, while from the Polish side 75 representatives registered from which around 50 Polish companies (more than 50 Polish Buyers) participated (due to some no-show-ups). Greek Sellers had the opportunity to talk for example to the biggest tour operator in Poland – Itaka, and a lot of other Polish tour operators, like Sun Tours from Radom, Hotailors and Worktrips.com, Prima Holiday, Invitatio, Orka Travel, TUI Poland, Forsail, OBP Incentive & Sport Travel, Ecco Holiday from Poznan, Lundi Travel, Lingwista, Konsorcjum.pl Trade & Travel Company, Adventure Boutique, Horyzonty and Five Star Destination from Cracow.
The follow-up articles and the posts about the Greek-Polish Tourism Workshop were published for example in Magazine „All Inclusive”, on its website (all-inclusive.com.pl) and its social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram – in total more than 29 000 followers). Additionally, there was a full-page advertisement published about the workshop in Magazine „All Inclusive”, on the second page of the cover (the value of it is 3000 euro) and there was also a special article published about winter in Greece on 12 pages. Polish travel trade could read about the Greek-Polish Tourism Workshop also in Think MICE magazine, on the website and Facebook of the biggest tourism association in Poland – Tourism Open Organization (Turystyczna Organizacja Otwarta – TOO), Wiadomości Turystyczne, Nowa Turystyka, Travel Compass, Rynek Turystyczny, Read&Fly magazine etc.1
