To answer this question the team at SuperCasinoSites looked at several different costs in 30 cities all over Europe – average Airbnb rates for private rooms, grocery prices, monthly public transport pass fees, and average cost of broadband Internet packages.
Here are some key findings from this analysis:
‣ According to the costs we took into account, the 5 cheapest cities for digital nomads are Riga (Latvia), Kraków (Poland), Budapest (Hungary), Athens (Greece), and Valencia (Spain).
‣ Having the lowest costs for accommodation and internet among the 30 European locations we saw, Riga is the most affordable destination for digital nomads. It also ranks 4th for food and transport affordability.
‣ Kraków has the cheapest food compared to the rest of the cities we looked at and it leads the overall ranking for the best cities for digital nomads in Europe.
‣ With a monthly public transit pass averaging €22.81, Prague provides the most affordable public transport among the destinations examined.
‣ Dubrovnik, Munich, and Tallinn, Prague, and Kraków are the safest placesamong the cities we looked at.
‣ The most expensive cities on this list are London, Munich, Dublin, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen.
